The next poem we are working on is Singing by Robert Louis Stevenson. I made a short little video to help your child memorize it. Have your child watch the video everyday until they know it by heart.
I also made a few sheets to help you with the memorization process.
I added picture cards to this file so you can ask your child to put the pictures in order as they recite the poem. Put the cards on the floor or a table and mix them up. Ask your child to sort them and place them in the correct order. This helps with sequencing and recalling the verses in the poem.
