Associative Law Puzzles

This week we studied The Associative Law for addition and multiplication in Math.  These are long and wordy formulas, so I had to think of something to give to the kids so they could learn it while keeping it interesting.

My kids like putting puzzles together, so that’s what I did.  I printed the puzzles on card stock so they would be sturdier.  They enjoyed putting the puzzles together while singing the song.

I am working on some other ideas to help us with the formulas, so stay tuned for the upcoming posts. 🙂   Here’s the video with the song we are using to help us learn the formulas.
