This year we have a set plan in our community to memorize specific Bible verses. This is specifically designed for the families in our community, but I thought I would put them in the blog, in case anybody out there is interested in using some or all of our Bible verses.
I will be creating some resources very similar to what I made last year. I will have the Bible verse typed and illustrated in order to help the younger learners.
My kids enjoy using the verse strips, so I will try it again this year. These strips can be used to play on a hard surface where they mix them up and them put them in order.
The strips can also be used to cut and paste on a sheet in the correct order. I usually give this to my children at the end of the week as a way to evaluate them.
Another resource we like to use is the pictures sheet. This sheet has the visual cues only, no words included. This helps them recall the verse without looking at the words.
With the shorter verses, I will be including copy work in two different levels.
Sometimes, I will add picture cards to go with the Bible verse. This won’t be included in each file, it will only depend on the verse and also if I have time to add that extra feature. You know how time tends to fly by and you end up with not enough time to do everything you planned to do, right? 🙂
I will post the verses each week. So just come back to this same post and scroll down to see the new Bible verse.
Hope this is useful to your family!
Have a great week,
